However, in the context of education policy in Indonesia, Christian Religious Education is often marginalised due to the dominance of secular and cognitive approaches that neglect the dimensions of values and morality. This article aims to analyse the urgency of repositioning Christian Religious Education in national education policy through a qualitative approach based on literature review. The findings indicate that Christian Religious Education not only serves as a means of transferring religious knowledge but also plays a role in building students' personalities that are inclusive, compassionate, and socially responsible. The main challenges faced by Christian Religious Education include inconsistencies between regulations and implementation in the field, a shortage of Christian Religious Education teachers with civil servant status, a curriculum that is not contextual, limited resources, and negative perceptions towards Christian education. The repositioning of Christian Religious Education proposed in this study includes six strategic steps: strengthening inclusive policies, developing a contextual curriculum, improving the quality and quantity of teachers, providing supporting facilities, integrating Christian values into the Pancasila student profile, and strengthening collaboration between churches, schools, and the government. By systematically and sustainably repositioning Christian Religious Education, it can play a more significant role in realising holistic, meaningful, and values-based national education. This repositioning is important not only for the benefit of Christians but also to enrich Indonesia's educational heritage in shaping future generations who are moral, inclusive, and have high integrity.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/145Manifestasi Sikap Politik Yesus Di Jemaat Imanuel Taripa2025-10-16T10:10:35+08:00Putri Chrisdwienjel Mbalotoputrimbaloto01@gmail.com
The manifestation of Jesus' politics is a politics rooted in justice, love, liberation, and solidarity with the oppressed values that serve as a reference for the Imanuel Taripa Congregation in practicing their own approach to politics.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/149Implementasi Pengajaran Tuhan Yesus Dalam Mendidik Anak Berdasarkan Markus 10:13-16 Bagi Guru Sekolah Minggu Di Gereja Baptis Rayon Pusat Utara (RPU), Jakarta2025-10-16T10:22:15+08:00Enidar Telaumbanuadelauenidar@gmail.comMaria Titik Windartimariawindarti3@gmail.comDjuniasih Djuniasihdjuniasih@sttkb.ac.id
This study seeks to describe how the teachings of Jesus Christ in Mark 10:13–16 are applied in the spiritual education of children by Sunday School teachers at the Central North Region (RPU) Baptist Church in Jakarta. This passage illustrates Jesus’ deep love and attention toward children, serving as an example for Christian educators to guide children's spiritual growth. The study uses a qualitative approach with data gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants consist of Sunday School teachers and church leaders actively serving in the RPU environment. The data was analyzed through reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings indicate that the teachings of Jesus have been implemented through unconditional acceptance of children, living as role models, and delivering biblical lessons using age-appropriate approaches. However, challenges remain, such as limited resources, lack of training, and weak communication between teachers and parents. This research recommends regular training, consistent spiritual support for teachers, and improved collaboration between the church, teachers, and parents to foster an environment that supportsholistic faith development in children.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/150Implementasi Pola Misi Pengajaran Rasul Paulus Berdasarkan Roma 11:11-242025-10-16T10:31:55+08:00Two Mei Lestari Telaumbanuameytwo2@gmail.comMartha Mulyani Kurniawanmmulyanikurniawan@gmail.comYuliani Yulianipaulussunarno220390@gmail.com
This article examines the implementation of the Apostle Paul’s teaching-oriented mission pattern in Romans 11:11–24 and its relevance to missionary ministry among children, particularly those who have not yet come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Through a theological approach, the study finds that Paul’s missionary strategy reveals the inexhaustible grace of God, wherein God provides salvation for all who are willing to believe and repent. Believers are commissioned by God to proclaim the salvation that has been accomplished by God Himself through and in Jesus Christ, and it is now the responsibility of believers to proclaim this salvation to those who have not yet believed.Due to the reality of human sin and total depravity, humanity is no longer capable of pursuing virtue; instead, human beings are wholly inclined toward sin, experience moral corruption, do not do good, and have become spiritually unprofitable. It is therefore evident that humanity is in need of the Gospel—that is, of God Himself as Savior—since only the power of God brings salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16–17). Jesus Christ has become the reconciler and redeemer of humanity from sin, and everyone who believes in Him will receive eternal life in Christ Jesus.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/151Pengaruh Intensitas Interaksi Sosial Media Bermuatan Kristiani Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Peserta Didik Di SMPN 1 Cikampek2025-10-16T10:37:34+08:00Juni Weslyweslyjuni2891@gmail.comSugiat Sugiatweslyjuni@gmail.com
Social media and teenagers are inseparable. It is undeniable that the sophistication of features found on various devices has made all thoughts and activities at least in contact with devices. The spiritual life of Christian congregations, including teenagers, is often influenced by various external factors, including social media, therefore research is needed to determine the intensity of Christian social media interactions on the character development of students. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with primary data sources obtained from the results of questionnaires from the sample, namely all Christian students at SMPN 01 Cikampek, data obtained from questionnaire entries were analyzed by testing validity, reliability, and correlation between research variables. The results showed that a total of 22 (61%) samples often accessed Christian content. The correlation results show a result of 0.369 with a significance value of 0.027, this shows a weak and significant relationship that students who often access Christian content have good character development. If social media is used wisely and directed sufficiently to Christian content then character development will be good.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/152Strategi Pengajaran Tuhan Yesus Berdasarkan Injil Matius Bagi Pola Pembentukkan Jemaat Rumah 2025-10-27T14:50:34+08:00Roslina Soli Ledilediroslina@gmail.comTimotius Sukarnatimotiussukarna@gmail.comMangapul Sihombingmangapulsihombing337@gmail.com
This article discusses the importance of Jesus' teaching strategy in the Gospel of Matthew for the formation of house congregations. Strategy comes from the Greek word stratogos, which means a method, procedure, or trick applied to achieve a goal and to shape the character of its mature members. In improving the quality of Jesus' teaching, Jesus used strategy and it became very effective in the Gospel of Matthew. The problem in this study is how Jesus' teaching strategy for house congregations based on the Gospel of Matthew actualizes their faith in the midst of the majority. Through a qualitative approach with theological analysis and biblical studies of chapters such as Matthew 4:19-20, Matthew 9:35, Matthew 5:2, Matthew 14:29, and Matthew 28:19-20. This article emphasizes that in Jesus' teaching, He prepared His disciples through a personal approach. The Lord Jesus not only chose disciples but also took responsibility for teaching them to prepare them to become teachers for others in spreading the Gospel. Jesus trained His disciples by involving them in real and active actions such as Jesus telling Peter to walk on water. The Lord Jesus performed signs and miracles before them with the sole purpose of training His disciples. The Lord Jesus also trained and taught them how to truly pray (Matthew 6:5-13). A house congregation is a group of people who gather and learn the truth of God's Word and participate in the proclamation of the Gospel. This means that the congregation is involved in spreading the good news about Jesus Christ, and the congregation perseveres in prayer and makes prayer a lifestyle. Therefore, Jesus' teaching in the Gospel of Matthew emphasizes the formation of a close community, experiential teaching, commissioning for ministry, and leading by example in daily life. Jesus not only taught in formal meetings but also built a close community with His disciples, who became models for the house congregation. Jesus chose, taught, trained, educated, and discipled His disciples by sending them out to serve directly. Jesus taught spiritual values through concrete actions, which confirms that the formation of a congregation is not only based on doctrine but also on living examples.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/155Misiologi di Era Digital: Implikasi Etis dan Moral dalam Penggunaan Teknologi2025-10-16T10:41:47+08:00Romi Lieromilie0982@gmail.com
The rapid development of technology in recent years has had a significant impact on the field of missiology. This article theologically examines the phenomenon of online worship through a literature study focusing on the concepts of God's presence, sacramentality, and the community of faith. Using a theological hermeneutical approach, this study interprets the meaning of digital worship based on the works of theologians such as Gunawan, Thompson, Bauer, Tück, Boersma, and others. The results of the study show that God's presence is not limited by physical space but is mediated by the faith of believers united in the name of Christ. The concept of real presence is reinterpreted as a spiritual experience that can occur in digital space as long as it is based on faith awareness and the work of the Holy Spirit. Meanwhile, the issue of sacramentality raises tension between the incarnational understanding that emphasises physical presence and the spiritual approach that sees sacraments as symbols of faith that can be interpreted online. On the other hand, faith communities in the virtual era have developed into digital koinonia, a fellowship connected spiritually through technology, without negating the importance of physical interaction. This study affirms that online worship is not merely a technological adaptation, but an opportunity for the church to broaden its theological understanding of presence, fellowship, and mission in the digital world. With contextual theological reflection, the church can make digital space a place for the growth of faith, ministry, and witness to Christ in modern society.
2025-12-06T00:00:00+08:00Copyright (c) 2025 JURNAL KADESIhttps://ejournal.sttkb.ac.id/index.php/kadesibogor/article/view/166Integrasi Mandat Budaya Ke Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen Melalui Strategi Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching And Learning2025-10-27T15:17:38+08:00Jenet selfiani sakeysakeyjenetselfiani@gmail.comLila S Silalahililasilalahi78@gmail.comMortan Sibaranisibaranimortan@gmail96.com
This study was motivated by the importance of improving the quality of Christian religious education (PAK) that can develop students' potential holistically through Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) with the aim of improving understanding of cultural mandates.
