<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi tradisi pendidikan agama Yahudi terhadap pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Fokus penelitian diarahkan pada integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Yahudi, seperti pembelajaran berbasis teks, dialog reflektif, ritual keagamaan, dan keterlibatan komunitas, sebagai strategi untuk memperkuat pembelajaran spiritual dan pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis komparatif melalui studi pustaka terhadap literatur pendidikan agama Yahudi, Pendidikan Agama Kristen, pembelajaran mendalam (<em>deep learning</em>), serta dokumen Kurikulum Merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi pendidikan Yahudi memiliki keselarasan dengan paradigma Kurikulum Merdeka yang menekankan pembelajaran holistik, partisipatif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Metode dialogis dalam tradisi <em>Talmud Torah</em>, pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman religius, serta penggunaan ritual sebagai media pendidikan spiritual terbukti relevan untuk diterapkan dalam Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Pendekatan tersebut tidak hanya meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif peserta didik terhadap ajaran agama, tetapi juga memperkuat dimensi afektif, spiritual, dan moral melalui internalisasi nilai-nilai iman dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam mampu mendorong pertumbuhan karakter religius, empati, pengendalian diri, dan kesadaran spiritual peserta didik. Namun, implementasi metode pendidikan Yahudi dalam pendidikan Kristen perlu dilakukan secara kontekstual dengan mempertimbangkan aspek teologis, budaya, dan denominasi gerejawi. Dengan demikian, integrasi prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Yahudi dapat menjadi alternatif pedagogis yang mendukung pengembangan Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang lebih reflektif, kontekstual, dan transformatif di era Kurikulum Merdeka.</p>Iwan SetiawanTimotius Sukarna

<p><em>The Great Commission commands every believer to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. In its implementation, gospel proclamation requires a process of contextualization so that the message can be accepted by individuals or groups within their specific contexts. This study aims to explore the principles of true contextualization based on 1 Corinthians 9:19–23 as a foundation for gospel proclamation. Paul positioned himself to “become like” various groups while remaining under the law of Christ, thus using culture as a bridge for communicating the Gospel. Employing a qualitative theological method, this research analyzes the concepts of contextualization and syncretism and interprets the text of 1 Corinthians 9:19–23. The findings reveal that Paul’s contextualization was centered on Christ, aiming to win as many people as possible without compromising the truth of the Gospel. Therefore, contextualized evangelism can avoid syncretism when it remains Christ-centered and is carried out creatively to reach all people.</em></p>Surya Novadinata

<p><em>This study emerges from the discernible gap between the political ideal of freedom and the lived social reality in Indonesia, which remains burdened by structural injustice, systemic corruption, persistent violence, and the marginalization of vulnerable communities. Within this national context, there arises a need to reassess the theological foundations of freedom in order to provide a coherent ethical and spiritual framework for the Christian community. Responding to this need, the present research examines Genesis 3:15 as a pivotal text that offers a potential theological grounding for a more comprehensive and contextually relevant understanding of freedom in contemporary Indonesia. Utilizing a qualitative research design and a hermeneutical methodology, this study interprets Genesis 3:15 by situating it within the narrative of the fall as well as within the broader Christian theological tradition, particularly its reception as the protoevangelium. The hermeneutical approach facilitates an engagement between the theological claims of the text and Indonesia’s contemporary socio-political landscape, yielding an interpretation that is both exegetically responsible and contextually meaningful. The primary objective of the research is to elucidate the theological dimensions of liberation contained within the promise of the “seed of the woman” and to identify the implications of this promise for Christian praxis and social responsibility in Indonesia. The findings indicate that Genesis 3:15 articulates a holistic vision of divine liberation encompassing spiritual, moral, social, and relational dimensions. The text affirms that authentic freedom is rooted in the redemptive work of Christ, which restores humanity from the power of sin and simultaneously summons believers to active participation in the pursuit of justice, peace, and social transformation. The novelty of this study lies in its integration of protoevangelium hermeneutics with a theology of freedom in the Indonesian national context, thereby positioning Genesis 3:15 not merely as a soteriological affirmation but as a formative source of public ethos that informs and shapes the church’s prophetic engagement with contemporary socio-political challenges.</em></p>Jonri Muksen Siregar

<p><em>The environmental crisis has emerged as an urgent global challenge requiring a holistic response from various institutions, including the church. This qualitative study, employing a desk research approach, seeks to analyze the role of pastoral care in internalizing ecotheological values within congregational life. The findings reveal a significant gap between theological awareness and the daily environmental practices of congregants. The study identifies three principal forms of ecology-based pastoral care: liturgical and homiletic transformation, contextual education and catechesis, and community accompaniment and action. The internalization of ecotheological values unfolds through cognitive, affective, and conative stages and is shaped by supporting factors such as a strong theological foundation and visionary pastoral leadership, as well as inhibiting factors including theological anthropocentrism and routine-driven church practices. The study concludes that integrated and contextual pastoral care holds substantial potential to bridge the gap between faith and ecological practice, thereby enabling the church to contribute meaningfully to addressing the environmental crisis. <p class="JudulAbstrak" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt;"><em><span style="font-weight: normal;">The development of digital technology has changed the lifestyles of the younger generation, not only in communication and access to information, but also in the formation of character, identity, and spirituality. Behind this convenience, various socio-moral problems have emerged such as social anxiety, identity crises, online bullying, hedonistic lifestyles, gadget addiction, promiscuity, and weakened spiritual discipline, which indicate a gap between Christian faith values ??and the life practices of the younger generation in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the forms of socio-moral problems faced by the younger generation, identify the causal factors, and formulate theological responses from the perspective of Christian Religious Education. The study uses a qualitative method with a library approach through analysis of the Bible, theological literature, and related scientific studies. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative and holistic approach that links digital social phenomena with comprehensive theological reflections on Christian Religious Education, while also offering a contextual, dialogical, and transformative model of faith formation to shape a young generation that is spiritually mature, morally integrated, and responsible in the digital space. <p>Problematika pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK) yang masih didominasi pendekatan kognitif-informatif sehingga kurang menjembatani pengetahuan iman dengan pengalaman hidup peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pedagogi naratif-reflektif sebagai model pembelajaran transformatif dalam PAK. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif berbasis studi pustaka dengan analisis deskriptif-analitis terhadap literatur teologi pendidikan, pedagogi naratif, dan pembelajaran reflektif. Kebaruan penelitian terletak pada integrasi sistematis antara narasi dan refleksi sebagai satu kerangka pedagogis utuh yang berorientasi pada transformasi iman, bukan sekadar metode pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pedagogi naratif-reflektif memiliki landasan teologis yang kuat serta struktur implementasi yang mencakup penghadiran narasi, refleksi personal, dialog komunal, pendalaman teologis, dan komitmen praksis. <p class="IsiAbstrak"><em><span style="font-family: 'Palatino Linotype',serif;">Biblical interpretation constitutes a significant component of Christian theological studies because it is directly related to the effort to understand the Word of God accurately and responsibly. However, the differences in historical, cultural, linguistic, and literary contexts between the world of the Bible and contemporary readers necessitate a hermeneutical method capable of bridging these gaps. This article aims to examine inductive Bible study through the Observation, Interpretation, Application (OIA) method as a hermeneutical model for interpreting the parables in the Gospel of Matthew. This study employs a qualitative–descriptive approach using a literature review method, drawing on various hermeneutical sources, commentaries on the Gospel of Matthew, and relevant works of biblical theology.The findings indicate that the OIA method provides a systematic and practical framework for the interpretive process, beginning with careful textual observation, followed by interpretation based on historical and theological contexts, and culminating in the application of the text’s meaning to contemporary life. In the context of the Matthean parables, this method proves particularly relevant because the symbolic and contextual nature of parables, as well as their focus on the teaching of the Kingdom of God, requires a careful and non-speculative reading. The OIA approach also assists readers in avoiding the tendency toward excessive allegorization and subjective interpretations detached from the original intent of the text. Furthermore, this method demonstrates a balance between academic understanding and spiritual transformation, ensuring that biblical study not only produces knowledge but also encourages spiritual growth and faithful obedience. Nevertheless, this study also emphasizes that the OIA method should be enriched by other hermeneutical approaches in order to produce more comprehensive interpretations. <p><em>The development of globalization and digitalization has significantly impacted the character formation of Christian adolescents, who often experience identity crises, anxiety, and weak spiritual resilience. This phenomenon indicates a gap between cognitively oriented faith instruction and the realities of everyday life, suggesting that character education has not yet fully produced authentic life transformation. This study aims to examine the integration of the theology of the Fruit of the Spirit and spiritual formation as the foundation for Christian character development among adolescents. The method used is qualitative with a theological literature review approach that is conceptual and analytical in nature. The findings show that the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23) represents the manifestation of a life led by the Holy Spirit and serves as a holistic indicator of spiritual maturity, encompassing internal, relational, and theological dimensions. Furthermore, spiritual formation is understood as an ongoing transformative process that shapes Christlikeness through Scripture, spiritual disciplines, and the community of faith. The integration of both concepts results in a model of Christian character education that is theological, relational, and transformational, positioning discipleship, modeling, and community as its primary strategies. Thus, Christian character education cannot be reduced to mere moral development but must be rooted in the transformative work of the Holy Spirit in human life. <p class="JudulAbstrak" style="margin-bottom: 6.0pt;"><em><span style="font-weight: normal;">This study examines the theological significance of the young man who fled naked in Mark 14:51-52 and explores the concept of second-chance theology through the life of John Mark. The problem underlying this research is that the brief narrative of the anonymous young man in the Gospel of Mark is often overlooked in biblical interpretation, despite its potential theological implications regarding failure, restoration, and discipleship. The purpose of this study is to analyze the narrative identity of the young man, commonly associated with John Mark, and to investigate how his life trajectory reflects God’s redemptive work through second chances. This research employs a qualitative approach using biblical narrative analysis, literary criticism, and theological reflection based on canonical texts such as Mark 14:51-52, Acts 13:13, Acts 15:36-40, Colossians 4:10, and 2 Timothy 4:11, supported by historical and theological literature. The analysis reveals that the Gospel writer intentionally preserved the embarrassing episode of the fleeing young man as a theological testimony of transformation. The findings indicate that John Mark’s journeyfrom failure in Gethsemane, desertion in missionary work, to restoration and recognition by apostolic leaders—illustrates the dynamic process of spiritual formation through grace and mentorship. The novelty of this research lies in interpreting Mark 14:51-52 not merely as a historical detail but as a narrative self-disclosure that frames the Gospel of Mark within a theology of restoration and second chances. <p>Era digital membawa perubahan signifikan dalam kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan, yang ditandai dengan kemudahan akses informasi, fleksibilitas pembelajaran, serta peluang kolaborasi global. Namun, di balik berbagai keunggulan tersebut, muncul tantangan serius terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa, seperti degradasi moral, meningkatnya sikap individualisme, serta penyalahgunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi nilai imitatio Christi sebagai pendekatan transformatif dalam membangun karakter siswa melalui pendidikan agama Kristen di era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, yang menganalisis berbagai literatur teologis, pendidikan Kristen, serta teks Alkitab secara interpretatif dan hermeneutik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep imitatio Christi, yang berfokus pada peneladanan kehidupan Yesus Kristus melalui pembaruan batin dan transformasi karakter, memiliki relevansi kuat dalam menjawab tantangan moral di era digital. Nilai-nilai utama seperti kasih, kerendahan hati, ketaatan, dan pengampunan menjadi fondasi dalam pembentukan karakter siswa. Implementasi dilakukan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran transformatif yang mencakup pengajaran kontekstual, refleksi spiritual, mentoring rohani, serta penggunaan media digital secara etis. Selain itu, model penerapan di sekolah Kristen seperti integrasi nilai dalam kurikulum, kegiatan pelayanan, dan keteladanan guru terbukti efektif dalam menginternalisasi nilai-nilai Kristiani dalam kehidupan siswa. <p class="IsiAbstrak">Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi spiritual guru terhadap kompetensi peserta didik pada era digital di Sekolah Dasar Teologi Kristen (SDTK) wilayah Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang, dan Bekasi (Jabotabek). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya mutu pendidikan di Indonesia serta pentingnya penguatan kualitas guru dalam aspek spiritualitas sebagai dasar pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Secara teoretis, kompetensi spiritual guru mencakup dimensi iman kepada Firman Allah, hidup yang diperbaharui, iman kepada Yesus Kristus, komitmen, karunia mendidik, dan keteladanan hidup, sedangkan kompetensi peserta didik meliputi ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 96 responden yang ditentukan melalui teknik sampling Isaac dan Michael. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, dan dianalisis dengan uji statistik pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi spiritual guru berada pada kategori tinggi (mean = 88,92), sedangkan kompetensi peserta didik berada pada kategori sedang (mean = 60,33). Uji hipotesis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan kompetensi spiritual guru terhadap kompetensi peserta didik, terutama pada ranah afektif. Disimpulkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi spiritual guru menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Kristen yang holistik dan kontekstual di era digital.</p>Obden Sumero Odoh
