Author Guidelines
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
- Manuscripts submitted to JURNAL KADESI: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen must be original research articles or critical analytical studies in the fields of theology, Christian Religious Education (CRE), biblical studies, pastoral ministry, church studies, Christian schools, and Christian higher education.
- Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English with a minimum length of 5,000 words in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Starting from 2021, manuscripts are prioritized in English and should use recent international references.
- Manuscripts must consist of the following sections: title, author’s name, institution, and e-mail address.
- The title should be concise, clear, informative, and not exceed 100 characters.
- Main headings must be written in bold.
- Subheadings must be written in bold italics.
- Each manuscript must include:
- An abstract in Indonesian and English;
- A maximum of 250 words in one paragraph;
- 3–5 keywords;
- Abstracts should not contain tables, figures, footnotes, or references.
- The introduction section should explain the research background, research problems, objectives, novelty, and research significance. The study may use methodological, hermeneutical, exegetical, qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches relevant to theology and Christian education.
- Manuscripts must include a review of relevant theories and recent studies to support the research argument. Research articles should clearly explain the research method, data collection, analysis techniques, and theoretical framework used.
- The conclusion should present concise findings and answers to the research questions in accordance with the objectives of the study.
- Quotations consisting of more than four lines must be typed in single spacing and separated from the main paragraph. Quotations consisting of four lines or fewer should be incorporated into the paragraph using quotation marks.
- Citations and footnotes must follow the Turabian 9th Edition Notes and Bibliography Style. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
- Bibliography entries should follow the Turabian 9th Edition format. Examples:

- Manuscripts must be submitted online through the official website of JURNAL KADESI: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration or published in another journal.
- Information regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of manuscripts will be communicated to authors via e-mail.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools to ensure consistency in citation and bibliography formatting according to Turabian 9th Edition Notes and Bibliography Style.
